The California Housing Justice Alliance is preparing to launch one of its first public-facing coalition resources.
The coalition has identified five priority ballot measures for the 2026 election. This guide will give member organizations a shared resource to educate voters, communicate consistently, and introduce the coalition’s shared priorities.
An Inaugural Coalition Resource
This voter guide will be one of the California Housing Justice Alliance’s first public-facing resources.
It will introduce the coalition’s work around five statewide ballot measures while giving member organizations a shared resource for the election season.
The guide will serve two audiences: voters who want a clear explanation of each measure, and coalition partners, advocates, and organizations who want a consistent way to communicate the coalition’s priorities.
Because the coalition is still determining whether the guide will remain educational or include explicit recommendations, we’ll develop a framework that supports either approach without requiring a redesign.
Our role is to lead the strategy, editorial development, and design of a voter guide that is organized, visually compelling, and easy for coalition members to distribute.
We’ll translate complex ballot measures into communications that are clear, accurate, and easy to navigate, helping readers understand what each measure does, why it matters, and what the coalition wants them to know.
We’ll lead the strategy, editorial development, and design of the guide from concept through final production, ensuring a consistent editorial and visual standard throughout.
We’ll develop materials that coalition organizations can confidently share with their own audiences while maintaining a consistent editorial and visual standard.

A Digital-First Resource
We recommend a digital-first approach. The voter guide will be developed as a downloadable resource that can live on the coalition’s website and serve as the foundation for supporting communications throughout the election season. We recommend a limited print run focused on strategic distribution through coalition partners and community organizations rather than broad printing.
We’ll establish a consistent structure across all five ballot measures so readers know exactly where to find the information they’re looking for.
We’ll translate technical policy language into plain, accurate writing while maintaining the coalition’s voice and any applicable compliance requirements.
Working within the coalition’s existing visual identity, we’ll create a guide that is easy to navigate, easy to share, and built for both digital and print use.
